Hi George and team,As Christmas approaches our Aussie stimulus package is being handed out this week, I am sure we all are hoping that it works and everyone does what the economy needs and that is spend it, spend it all to boost all parts of the economy, just not Good Guys or Harvey Normans. Even our Prime Minister is saying Spend it all, well not my Boys, sure we will spend some of it however I am sure it wont be the way most will spend it.Each of our children will use 33% of it to invest in themselves and KNOWLEDGE is our greatest gift from God, failure in our state schooling is becoming more evident and next year my wife will be home schooling our children so we can chose what goes into their precious young minds…
Another 33% will be allocated to buying a nice ¼ ounce Gold coin for each of them so they can benefit from this money for many years to come.
It is great to be in both the position too do this for them and also having the KNOWLEDGE to do so too.
Many of you always ask me where and what am I doing with my money?, I am always happy to share with you all what I am doing and what I believe makes sense given our current situation….
If you are one of the lucky ones who will be receiving this stimulus this week why not do the same and purchase a solid investment for your child, I know they will thank you a lot more for it eventually then if you bought a Plasma or a Wii… So back to out topic of this BLOG.
Wall of Worry V’s Our Greatest Gift…
It doesn’t matter if you are religious or not however we all have such a wonderful gift that sets us apart from the Animal kingdom and that is our minds, our wonderful Inventions and our brilliant Discoveries..
As we climb the Wall of Worry and all the bad problems facing society today, it is always nice to know that somehow we always survive and thrive finding new ways to solve our deepest problems.
History has shown us it is in these times we always invent or discover a major turning part of our lives, when Unemployment hits a historical high in the past it has triggered a new product which helps new job creation, so don’t be like the masses who fear always for the worse, sure respect what can happen but remain focused on where you want to go…
Ozone, YK2, Global warming have been some of our latest hurdles and we look back and see how we have not only solved them but prospered.
As this Credit Crunch now takes full control of our Global economy, the emotion and panic has now been released and what I believe is happening now is Investors and the human race is now starting to focus on how we get out of this mess not what is next to go wrong?..
This is a major turning point in our thought patterns..

Sure, last Friday night was a great example of how we are beginning to find hope now and not focusing on all the Doom and Gloom, the U.S produced one of their worst unemployment figures in decades with a huge 533,000 jobs lost in the last month, now instead of a huge sell off, we actually seen the market turn around and finish strong as we now hope and believe that somehow we will get through this all and now is the perfect time to reposition ourselves for when we do…
So if you want to look for a sign that market sentiment is slowly changing, there you have it…
Is the bottom for our markets now in place ?
I hope so and if human sentiment is anything to go by I truly believe we are….
Our support area around 3,500 is still holding and a higher low now looks to be in place, time will tell us all we need to know..
Humans are great creatures, we can fix this mess, all we need to do is BELIEVE… one thing you have over emphasised to me George and for that I thank you. Thanks once again James McMurtrie
