“A Good Year” & Save up to $3,800.00 - Please Read On…

Since last Tuesday I have been in recovery mode from a knee operation; for those of you who know me intimately you know that one of my favorite past times is watching movies… particularly one’s based on true events.

Some of you may have watched this movie starring Russell Crowe who needs no introduction and Albert Finney (some of you may recall him starring alongside Julia Roberts as the hangdog attorney Ed Masry in Erin Brockovich) in “a good year”.

Over the years I have found by utilizing scenes from various movies, actually assists my coaching in getting my message across to my audience.  One of the benefits by using such technology is that it allows us to access as many of our senses as possible; as we know by now that the communication model is made up of 7% verbal and 93% non verbal.  Therefore the key is stacking things in our favor. Below is what I would call a BFO – Blinding Flash of the Obvious … and I hope that you appreciate my spirit of intent with this example.  Albert Finney plays Uncle Henry (UH) & Russell Crowe plays his nephew Max Skinner (MS) - from the movie “a good year”…

UH:     “Match point… Ace… Game… Set… Match!”

MS:    “You cannot be serious”

UH:     “Hey… Hey”

MS:    “You don have to rub it in”

UH:     “The point is why are you not celebrating?”

MS:    “Because I Lost” UH:     “Well a man should acknowledge his losses…just as gracefully as celebrating his victories”

MS:    “Well done Uncle Henry… This is stupid” - Max behaves sarcastically…

UH:     “You’ll come to see that a man learns nothing from winning… the act of losing however can elicit great wisdom… not least of which how much more enjoyable it is to win”… It’s inevitable to lose now and again. The trick is not to make a habit out of it.

How true is UH pearls of wisdom.

Remember, we live in a world of duality; we must embrace losing as much as we do winning. The key here as previously shared with you is that we appreciate the lessons or history will repeat…  “Lessons vs. Experiences” click on this link to read this message again…

For those of you that have been actively participating in my 60 days Wealth Pilgrimage, you may not have achieved everything you desire to date, however I can assure you of one thing and that is, you are in a far better position than the masses who take no action.

If you haven’t read the book “Conversations with God, regardless of your beliefs I suggest you do so at least once; and when you enjoy it, thank me and if you don’t blame your self! Hmmmmmmmmmmm interesting thinking gratitude vs. responsibility!
